So I just watched an episode of MADE on MTV and it was pretty moving. It was about this senior girl in high school who wanted to be made into a hip hop dancer. I'm not sure if it was her red hair, the fact that she made friends with the kids in a drum circle and later rapped with them or her trying so hard to dance that touched me. I was sitting here by myself laughing out loud and tearing up as she performed in her school talent show trying to bring hip hop to her peeps in the audience. It was so great and just made you feel good, ya know!

Strawberry Days and 6th month Belly
So last night we partied in Pleasant Grove at their annual Strawberry Days festivities. We went to the park, at yummy carnival food, I tried my first funnel cake, went to the Rodeo and just had a plain old good time. And we ate so many of the delicious strawberries and cream, ok I ate the most but they were so good I just couldn't help myself. I just kept telling everyone the baby was hungry and needed just one more. That works right? We had a wonderful time and will totally miss doing this next summer when we are who knows where.
And last Sunday I reached my 6th month mark. It is so crazy to me to think that I have been prego for six months and am getting closer every day to my delivery date. The baby is moving around so much and I love it. And my belly is growing by the second! I think it's fair to say that I am pretty much out of all my normal pants but I did just buy a Bella band thing and I love it. This pregnancy has been great so far and I feel so lucky. Except I have negative blood which means I have to get a shot, which I'm kind of nervous about. Anyway, that's pretty much the update on the baby front. We are headed down to Manti this weekend to spend some time with my Gramma and also watch the Manti Pageant which is always a good time. Peace out for now!

Well it has been a while since our last post and so much has happened. School is officially over for me, I cleaned out my office and handed in my PHS keys which means I am officially no longer employed by Provo High.
We had so much fun with my fam in Texas a few weeks ago. It was quite the adventure traveling with 11 people in the hot humid weather of San Antonio but we made it there safe and totally found our way around (thanks to Greg and his amazing navigating skills due in part to serving his mission there). We were able to spend a lot of time with Mac and it was so good to see him. I will admit it, yes, I did get teary eyed on more than one occasion while watching him to do his Air Force things. He is turning into such a grown up and it blows my mind! Well I'll just list a few of the highlights from our trip and if you want more details just give me a call!!

THE HOST,
BABY CLOTHES,
TEXAS,
AND MORE.......
Ok first I just have to say that I have finally finished reading Stephanie Meyer's new book The Host and it is pretty darn good. My friend Betsy let me read it and I was a little skeptical at first, because there are no Vampires, just Aliens. Well, even with the Aliens it is still pretty amazing. I cried my way through the last 2 or 3 chapters. Like crying so hard that I couldn't see the words on the page. Anyway, it is a great read and blows my mind that someone can think up a story line like that.
Next, I am getting more and more excited for our little baby to get here. I can totally feel him moving around and I love it. I freak out if I don't feel the little guy move all through out the day. And I am going crazy buying baby boy clothes. I cannot stop. I think I may have a problem. I do have to say that as I get farther along I do get a little more nervous about actually having the baby. I am not good with needles, blood, the smell of doctor's office or anything doctory, pain, etc. All things that go hand in hand with having a baby. I was joking with Greg that I might faint when I am in labor and have to get an IV put in me so just to make sure the baby gets out ok and wake me up when it's all over. I think that could be kind of nice!
And finally on this short update, Greg and I are going to Texas on Wednesday with my family. We are going to watch my little bro. Macklin graduate from Air Force boot camp and because my family hasn't been on a vacation, as a family, for years. This is a landmark trip and I can't wait to be a part of it. I mean we have all the ingredients for FUN: 2 parents, an older brother who is reluctantly coming, a sister bringing her darling 5 and 3 year old little girls, me and my pregnant self, a little bro. who thinks he is the BOMB.Com (which he is) and a 13 year old boy who wants to purchase any and every souvenir. Oh ya, throw in temperatures of 98 and high humidity and what do you get......Forced Family Fun!!! And our flight leaves at 6 in the A.M. so I'll let you know how it all goes!!!!
