Greg had an intramural softball game this past Monday and hit an inside the park home run. Not to shabby huh? And it only cost him this......

As I'm sitting here thinking way too much about what to write, I am realizing that we have so much to update I could be here for a while. So what I'll do is break down this post into three parts. That should make it a little manageable to read.

Part 1
A few weeks ago we had a good friend, Bob who is currently in Korea, come visit. He is actually Greg's brother Andy's bestie(BFF)from West Point but we pretty much consider him family. Anyway, he came to see us and the grand town of Clemson, South Carolina and we had such a fun day. We ate lunch and the Esso club, got some tasty ice cream from the creamery on campus and then just hung out at our place. Gus loved Bob and we can't wait to see him again!

Ok Part 2. A few weeks ago we were lucky enough to drive out to Kentucky and visit Andy and Melissa and their cute baby Noah. It just so happened that both Greg's parents and other brother were there visiting too. It was a mini family reunion!! We loved visiting with them and had such a good time. Gus loved playing with his Nana and Grampa Gary and uncle Corey had him laughing and kept him entertained for almost an hour. I told Corey that if he wanted to move to South Carolina and be our manny I would be totally fine with that!!

And the last part of the super long post....Gus's 6 month update. Last Tuesday Gus had is 6 month birthday. I can't believe that he has been here for that long!! I am dying. He is half a year old and changing so much ever day. He is so fun right now and we love love love having him in our family.
Some of the fun things he is doing right now is he loves patting his little hands on everything. When I'm sitting at the computer with him on my lap he loves pat pat patting the counter. Or when he is in his bumbo with the tray table on, he goes to town on that. He is eating rice cereal and real baby food. He is working on peas and green beans. So far I think most of it has ended up on his face and the tray instead of in his belly. But he's getting some down and I know he'll figure it out eventually. We'll keep practicing. He is also so good at rolling over. He has been doing that for a few weeks now and is awesome. He rolls from both sides and from his back to his belly and then to his back again. He's a pro. And his newest accomplishment is that he can sit up. I'll sit him up in front of his toy basket and he just sits there and pulls his toys out and plays with them. It's so cute and he looks so old. As for sounds, he is increasing his vocab with the use of the sound mama mama mama. I know he doesn't associate it with me yet but it's so cute to watch his little jaw go up and down. I think that's about it. Oh, and we think he may be getting a tooth!! But we don't know for sure.

Alright, that's the end of this novel. Enjoy and I promise to do better at blogging so don't give up on us blogging world!!

Just a heads up....

I know our post is super old but between a sick Gus (he had Bronchiolitis and hives, we were freaking out), a quick trip to Utah and another quick trip to Kentucky we have had a busy couple weeks. We are back in South Carolina and I promise to spill all the juicy details and put up some new pics soon! So keep checking back. Don't give up on us yet!
